How many of us like change? Not many, and yet change is upon us…always. Change happens daily, in small increments. It’s in those small steps that we can digest the shifts around and with in us.
It’s in those small steps that build momentum and work with the natural rhythms of expansion. Yet, so many of us want to skip the small steps, and attain the goal as quick as possible.
That was me, once I had a goal, I needed to achieve it asap, without looking around, without gathering the tools that presented themself on the way.
And then……I found out there is no end. It felt devastating at 1st, like If there’s no end, then there’s no goal, then…what’s the point of even trying?
My goal was heaven, let me be good enough to be allowed into heaven. Can you see how learning there is no goal crumbled a foundational construct? Now what?
Well, there’s always more…the beauty in no end. There’s always more. I was coming from a ‘lack consciousness’ that couldn’t understand infinity.
In the crumbling of a foundation that was set in quicksand, I learned that the foundation I was searching for was already there, underneath the belief system I was force-fed.
I was searching for safety, and all I found was insecurity. I needed to dig deeper, beneath the veneer. It felt like I broke through a floor that covered a black hole. I fell into that hole, for a very long time.
But once I landed and stood up, I saw the foundation I was looking for wasn’t in a physical form. It was a vibrational foundation, built by consistency….by patterns and rhythms.
Breaking through old patterns can feel like the end. But, it’s not, there’s always more. And with that clarity, a new found driving force, empowered by choice arose.
What I wanted to end was being led by beliefs that opposed my soul. Unconsciously, that was my goal. So to find out there was no end, I lost hope.
My fists pounding the ground in rage, followed by tears that turned into a flood, washed away constructs, breaking through to a new day. A dark night of the Soul stretched into Seven years.
Sun Salutations continue to brighten my days, opening my eyes, awakening within me the ancient Golden rhythm of the Sun. To consistent warmth.
It began at dawn, a new light, a new day. And now, the Light with in me grows a little brighter, rising into mid- morning.
